I know it’s been a lil while since I lasted posted anything, but something happened to me over the weekend that made me fly to my p.c!!!
Ok so I relaxed my hair like two weeks ago it came it really nice, glossy and bouncy how my hair generally looks. I just got back from a lil vacation in Portugal (will update you on that one in another post 🙂 and my hair badly needed a wash, plus it was a little dry due to the sun etc so I decided to do a protein treatment.
Usually I make my own protein treatments which make my hair feel so silky, but as I didn’t have all the ingredients I needed, I decided to head to my local hair shop and buy a readymade protein treatment.
After much looking and reading, I opted for Motions CPR Protein Reconstructor. Guys this was the worst thing I could have done. After washing my hair I applied the treatment, instantly I knew something was wrong, my shiny straight looking hair went MEGA curly (I’m talking Gerry curl curly ya’ll) and then some parts looked really frizzy. So I was like hum ok…. I’ll leave it on for a few mins if it does not look any better I’ll wash it out, it didn’t look better so I washed it out.
I continued with the rest of my normal hair routine, and was horrified to find that when I released my hair from the silk wrap, my hair was mega frizzy and dry. I’m not gonna lie I was proper P****d. I NEVER use straighteners on my hair as I don’t want to damage it with heat, but on this occasion I had too, it was so darn frizzy.
After using my straighteners how did my hair look and feel…YUP you guessed it still frizzy!
Just look at the pics of my hair the first two pics were taken on Sunday, the third was taken today, notice the complete difference in the hair texture???
“sighs” really disappointed with the Motions CPR Protein Reconstructor, my hair does not like it at all. I’m really surprised to be honest as my hair loves the shampoo. Ahhhh “ho hum” have you used Motions CPR Protein Reconstructor, if so let me know how it worked for you.
Stay fabulous xx
My hair on Tuesday, peep the frizzyness 😦
